A selling point of the icon shocks , that it is easy to tune the stiffness feature. Do any members here use this on a regular basis? rh

I do quite often. Mostly to get a feel of how the ride changes. I like is soft for road driving and then change it when I go off road.

I usually leave it on soft for on road, and then if I'm just cruising or pre-running something...

However, for higher speed stuff or especially if you go to the dunes, the stiffer settings are a huge plus!

I wouldn't say softer than stock... it's close to stock, but overall feels more solid. Less body roll, better feedback on bump and driveway entrances, etc. But does it make the ride uber-soft like a Cadillac? I wouldn't say that.

The read of the truck will ride the same, the ride is dependent on the springs, all the shock does is dampen or slow down the spring rates up and down.

The front has a stiffer spring than stock. There is a thread somewhere on here that breaks down a comparison of the specs for the different 3.0 manufacturers, fox, icon, and king.

I like the easy adjustment settings on my Icons and adjust them for on road/offroad uses frequently. But I've also seen the prototype Foxs with the fancy "turny clicky" things.
