FWIW, I also have a 2022 bronco and it doesn't do this, which makes me think this is a bug or a design flaw that they are making excuses for.

As @Adrenlin mentioned, it’s design intent as stated on page 181 of the Owner’s Manual. Every vehicle is different in terms of discharge vent positions, body vent placement, etc. Air movement throughout the cabin dictates the HVAC strategy, which is why it’s specific to vehicle application.

So the truck knows you are going to fart. The colder it is outside the less physical activity you have so it is programmed to compensate. Follow the science man.
