Air raid in Seattle?

I have a question about the Air Raid. I want it, but I don't want water getting in my engine or filter. It does rain in Seattle, often, am I stupid for buying this here?

I think there is a liner that helps that, saw it on here once.

I decided against one of these things. They certainly appear to reduce water protection, and I have zero interest in having to avoid water in a Raptor. Truck is rated for 30" (not at speed, of course).

I've blasted through some pretty gnarly puddles after a freak rain storm and had rooster tails on both sides of the truck. Never had any problems.

Includes installation of the AIRAID intake, installation of the pre-filter, and several subsequent modifications to the AIRAID intake which have produced good results in terms of both performance and water exclusion.

I know this isn't what you asked but i got the volant because it is an enclosed box and should* help to reduce water ingestion.
