Kaiser, the link no longer works. Is there another new link within the FRF forums that this has rerouted to?
Take a look in the very first post, the correct link is there.
What does @svc recommend for air filter since I'm running their tune.
If you are out in the dirt, nothing filters better than a stock style paper filter (two exceptions are Donaldson Power Core and UMP filter system).

Not to argue for no good reason, but I have a 'sock' filter that I put over my AFE filter, and I find it hard to believe that the stock paper filter would do better. Nice thing about the 'sock' filter is that at the end of the day, or a particularly dusty run, all you do is remove it and shake it out. I've never found much if any dust particles in the filter after the dustiest of runs......

Here are the ones I have found so far:

Baldwin PA4323 $14

Carquest 83883 $9

Defense DA10262 $9

Ford 7C3Z-9601-A $26
-Newer versions of these have been reported to be thin filters

Fram CA10262 $11
-Looks to be a thick filter

Hastings AF1333 $16

Motorcraft FA-1883 $14

NAPA 9883 $14
-Reportedly made by Wix

Purolator A35642 $16
-Made in the US
-Thin filter (was previously a thick filter)

STP SA10262 $9

Wix 49883 $20
-Made in US
-Thick filter
-Reportedly the same as NAPA Gold
-Can be had on Amazon for $15 each (get two and get free shipping!!)

If anyone runs across any details (thick or thin filter, country of origin, etc.), let me know and I will update.

Note:
There is a photo showing the difference between the thick and the thin filters in this post:

I want to do the Volant with Donaldson filter since it's the second best to what isnt currently available that I'd want. Ideally I'd like the cyclone style that UMP makes but it sounds like a custom deal that I'd have to make.

Who here has the Volant with the Donaldson filter?

Hi like minded Raptor owners, I read with interest all the arguments regarding filtration.
Could some astute person please advise me as to the difference between a Roush "DO NOT OIL" filter which i currently have on my CAI and the normal K&N type "oil upon cleaning" filter?
How do I clean this Roush filter and "restore" the oily finish?
Please also advise me as to which is the more efficient in the CAI system? Assuming only highway running.
Can the Donaldson filter be used to replace my current Roush in the CAI? Thanks.

Bucks for it so it’s done replacing it I had to order it $75. Hopefully it’s worth it
