Any chance these are available in bronze?

They don’t have that color listed in their site, but you could contact them. They responded to my questions pretty quickly.

Given the wheel is nearly a two tone as it is, I think they would look decent with the matte black caps as well.

I'd like to switch out the stock OEM non-beadlock wheels for aftermarket wheels with very similar or exactly the same offset as the wheels that came with my '18. Stock wheels, as most of you know, are 17" x 8.5" with a 34mm offset.

Closest thing I can find in an aftermarket wheel style that I like is the XD301 Turbine. 17" x 9" with 18mm offset. This wheel will stick out about 3/4" more than stock. Already getting plenty of debris up on the side of the truck...even with mudflaps.

So....I came across Detroit Wheel and Tire. They offer powder-coated, painted and PVD coated factory wheels in various colors. They'll also do an exchange program, where they send you OEM coated/painted wheels and return yours for credit.

I've seen some pretty good reviews...and some not so good ones.....but I'm planning on calling them on Monday to see what they say.

Ideal scenario is they will have non-beadlock OEM wheels that can be painted, powder-coated or PVD covered in a nice satin gray or black to go with my Lead Foot 2018.

Has anyone in the Raptor communitiy had experience with Detroit Wheel and Tire?

Thanks,

Northlight

Sorry, I don't have any experience with that company...but $695 seems like a lot of money for just powdercoating the wheels. I would think you could get yours coated locally for cheaper than that, and not have to worry about shipping. Maybe ask around town and see what's out there.

@CUSTOMWHEELS4U would you be able to PM me pricing + availability for a set of 17" Method Grids shipped to 48327? Can you also confirm that the Grid is the same as the Mesh but has a removable simulated beadlock? TIA

It's not removable but has the flange casted into the mold. So it looks like it has a ring as where the Mesh has no flange, just bolts in the lip edge. PM coming your way.

Hey guys! Just wanted to show off a couple pictures of the new Vorsteiner Venom Rex 601 wheels that we've launched our pre-order for.

The wheels are a 20x9 with an ET12 offset so they'll have a more aggressive fitment than stock without going outside of the factory fenders.

Additionally, these wheels are made using Vorsteiner's Flow Forged process which allows to them to have to be both stronger and lighter. These new wheels tip the scales at only 28.5lbs a piece while boasting a load capacity of 900kg each.

Standard finishes are Mystic Black and Carbon Graphite. We're working on getting a bronze version as well. Custom finishes are also available.

I know we're in the Gen 2 Forum Section, but these wheels will fit the Gen 1 trucks as well as regular F-150s from 2009 and up.

Our preorder is up and running now so you can check it out at our site and let me know if you have any additional questions for us.

That's a good looking wheel with similarities to the HRE P161's but at much better price. I like that they went flow form too!! Is there any reason they didn't make the load rating a little higher? Either way, great looking wheel!!
