I don't get what you're saying at all

So is the widely used 1010 offset calc wrong Wheel Offset Calculator | 1010Tires.com Discount Online Tire and Wheel Store

It says the outside edge of the wheel will be pushed out 20mm

No, the websites are not wrong. They are a tad misleading tho. What matters is how much the outside face of the tire will be pushed out. Since your tires are centered on your wheels, when you look at the truck from the front or rear, they will stick out by the offset difference.

A wider wheel will move outward AND inward compared to stock.

The offset difference is how much the centerline of the wheel (and tire) will be moved.

Did you look at the picture? It accounts for both how much the inner and outer edges move.

On his setup, how much do you say the inside and outside edges move vs stock?

I am not disagreeing with the picture or any of the dimensions. I am simply pointing out that the TIRE footprint only moves out by the difference of offset.

Anybody running Method Roosts on the stock KO2's or know if they'll even work? Pics? Thanks.

They do rub - have not trimmed so do not know how much it takes to get them to clear. Waiting for more options on the front before any trimming.
