Looking to scoop an aftermarket bumper but live in a state where the front plate is required to pass inspection. Outside of zip ties has anybody tested the Sto and go type plate holder that drills into the skid plate? I know it’s made for the factory skid plate just seeing if anybody has done this

thanks!

Just a thought. If the aftermarket bumper you are considering has a hoop or push bar, you could use the holes for light mounting to mount a plate with a custom bracket there. Mount the plate upset the light hoop/push bar and that would give you the option of angling it to match the skid plate for a clean install.
