To put it simple I didn't want to change to 93 octane. I'm not running any boost and the Hot Rod cams are a direct replacement for stock cams. The stock valve train and VCT are still being used. After spending $75 in gas every 2 to 3 days in my Lightning I'm just not ready to do that in this truck. I am curious to see what kind of results I will get with 93 octane or E85 but that may come after the new intake goes on the truck.i found the exhaust clip thanks
still didnt really find a straight answer about why hes using 87
The only difference between the 5.4 and the 4.6 is the deck height once you get passed that its a lot easier to mod these things.ahh gotcha
thats interesting because most cars (at least that i know of) respond very positively to 93
but thats cars and this is trucks...
