AFE STAGE 2 and MAGNAFLOW 15588 installed

Got my AFE stage 2 CAI and MAGNAFLOW 15588 installed. The sound difference is amazing. The exhaust is best at lower RPM and the CAI really kicks in at around 3200-3400 RPM.. It is great in the cab because at highway speeds there is no drone. (I drive alot so this was important to me). As far as power and fuel mileage, it sounds alot better and makes it feel more powerful which in turn makes you want to drive it harder (generally in manual to keep the RPM range ideal) and has so far decreased my gas mileage by 0.1 MPG. I am overall very happy with both upgrades. The CAI only took me and my brother 20 minutes start to finish to install and I had the exhaust put on at my local muffler shop. I honestly think the CAI made more difference in the sound than the exhaust at times. It is the crazy low decibel sucking sound that I was hoping for. You can really make it grunt in 2nd and 3rd gear..

Wheela, I've been wondering for a year what the Magnaflow 12388 muffler would do with the stock factory exhaust tubes. My sense is that there is nothing at all wrong with the factory tubes, and that the 24 inch 12388 would be an easy installation and something of an improvement on the factory muffler. Please, please post your impressions and experience with this muffler!

I've heard one in person with just the muffler magnaflow sound's good deeper than stock sound

I have a 14" magnaflow with no resonator & it sounds awesome.
