AFe stage 2 + 5star lid

So...I got the kit today and I'm wondering if the rubber gasket is used with the lid ? It seems like it wont fit .

Dont think it fits. Tossed the one in my kit.

I'm thinking its for aFe s plastic cover ? So ,I just took it for a rip and wow what a beast.That 5 star 91 tune totally wakes this thing up ,sounds super angry when hit that go pedal.
