everyone is moving towards rugged beadlock wheels
either real beadlocks or simulated. The market is hot right now and people want that OFFROAD look.

Congrats ADV.1 for making a super sexy truck wheel but you missed the boat on this one. Save them ADV.1's for pretty boys in Lincoln Trucks. The Raptor wants a tough BAJA inspired wheel design.

Like the new 18x10 Fuel Trophy :hands:

Yes, I know. Fuel wheels ARE heavy. The 17" Trophies are 31 lbs. These 18x10" Trophies weigh 35 lbs. But they do have a 4" lip and I think the 17's look a little weird.

The 17" Method wheels weigh any where from 28 lbs. to 33 lbs. depending on which style you buy. Leave the pretty boy wheels alone. Get some Pro Comps or Fuels or Methods or maybe even the ATX wheels. KMC ENDURO's are sex but also heavy and kinda expensive.

Real beadlocks are also available from METHOD, Fuel, Raceline, Walker Evans, Trail Ready, KMC and even ATX. The ATX Slabs are crazy. Get some nice wheels and go offroading.

BTW, the Cooper Discoverer STT is a wicked nice tire the performs extremely well. $250 buys you the 35" for a 17" wheel and it only weighs 68 lbs.

Duratrec 315/70R17 tires weigh about 61 lbs. and cost the same.

Those Open Country MT tires weigh a whoop'n 83 lbs. Get off that street queen shit :poop:

Those coopers are nice looking, anyone running them that can comment oh how well they work both on road and off. Are they very noisy on the highway etc?

Want a badass expensive off road wheel that I doubt anyone else in the Raptor community has, if but for very few… HRE RX43, you can get em customized any color you want.

I really don'y believe these HRE's can handle the LOAD of the Raptor.
Built for lighter trucks and SUV's

The cooper STT is nice. Most people complain they are too quiet. I'm hearing great on dry and wet pavement. Very good if not great in the mud. Great on dry dirt. Good in the snow.
OK in the sand. Not so good on the ice.

Price is awesome and the load rating is very good. The coopers are sexy too. There is a reason why they are inexpensive. And there's another reason why they are not #1
but I won't share the CONs of said tire. Do your own homework and decide if the Cooper STT is right for you.

Honestly, the Duratrac is a killer tire for a killer price.

CONs for the Duratrac is it's sidewall, overall softness and possibly it's looks.
I like the look but it can't hold a candle to the Cooper STT's.

35" STT's on 17's weigh 67 lbs.
35" STT's on 18's weigh 69 lbs.
37" STT's both wheels considered weigh about 75 lbs.
1-60.jpg

35" Open Countrys weigh 83 lbs.
37" Open Countrys weigh around 85 lbs.
ford-f150-raptor-fuel-off-road-nutz_f.jpg

and the sweet trail grappler MT's from NITTO in 35" weigh about 78 lbs.
NITTO%201[1].jpg

Only the KEVLAR wrangler MT's look better and weigh less than the cooper's but they ride harsh, sound loud, wear fast and cost $100 more each
