What garage are you in? I am in 1100 Smith and it is 6'9". My understanding was the collars were not adding height.
"The roof is at a slant being the highest in the rear. By leveling/lifting only the front is raised. You are making the lower front roof match the higher rear roof. So if the rear of the roof clears your garage now it still will when the front of the roof matches the rears height. Hopefully this pic gives you a better idea on how the leveling would change the stance."
I am not saying it will happen here, but when I took my leveled SuperDuty with 33s into a garage in downtown Houston, I was able to pass under the 6'-9" "test" opening, but as I drove further into the garage, my truck started to scrape on the roof. The beams got tighter and tighter as I went further into the garage and I finally had to turn around and go back out the entrance. Luckily, I did not have a sunroof at the time or it would have broke. It totally effed up my roof, though!
Moral of the story, do not trust the opening bars at the entrance of a garage to be 100% accurate!
