So I'm looking over my paper work to order the truck and there is a charge for
ADV assessment for $750 and fuel charge for $94?
does this mean when I pick the truck up it will have a full tank? Are these charges normal?

Normal. Everyone pays these fees. And some will argue that they did not pay these fees. You can conclude that these folks just never read their DORA.

ADV >> Ford makes the customer pay for their advertising
Fuel Charge >> That free tank of gas from the dealer is not really free.

At $94 I assume you have a scab. I was charged $134 for the screw, which has a bigger tank.

Does the price change based on price of gas? Cause around here its like $4.30 for 87, $94 for a full tank might be a deal.

I got a free full tank when I picked up my 2011 Screw that I ordered, I guess that just depends on the dealer

i wondered if the fuel charge varied. mine was $97 for a scab. is it based on fuel prices at the time of ordering or area of the country? i know the ad fee varies by region

Unfortunately Raptor911 is absolutely correct. I tried anything/everything I could to get out of these and couldn't. I was able to talk Chevrolet out of advertising fees, but had no luck with Ford. FWIW, I was able to get my Ford dealer to fill me up with 91 vs. 87.

It was not free. You paid for it. It was listed in your DORA. Dealers just say it's free to make you feel good. But you know the saying. Nothing is free.
