I would send you the B/O amp I ripped out of my truck, but that would make me an accomplice to a crime. Listen to these wise gentlemen.

Chris,
What would you recommend just in terms of amp and speakers? I don’t want to invest in sound too much but surely want more than what B&O is giving me.

here, on frf
if the truck doesnt have the b&o system, you cant add it. you will spend far more than its worth just to add the oem option. you would need a completely new wiring harness from the amp to the head unit which includes other data inputs, get a replacement head unit that puts out the proper signal for the b&o system, and im sure a bcm reprogram. im sure it can be done, but at the cost factor of several thousand.

I'll be honest. There are more intelligent people on this forum to answer your question. It took me several steps to get where I am, using advice from experts like dhmcfadin. There are several good threads on this forum to help you make a decision.
