Doesnt stick out much further. If ya look at the hitch its not much different than stock but a whole lot stronger

the bottom part doesn't stick out further, but the top part does then angles down to the bottom that doesn't stick out as far. Wish they'd make it so it was stock overall dimensions, truck is long enough as it is lol.

I have the rear ADD Dimple R and my spare tire access works fine. Is there not a hole in the bumper to put the factory lock in place? I simply pulled the one out of the factory bumper and installed in the Dimple R.

There is a hole for the lock but the lock needs a ridge to lock onto and my bumper doesnt have that. Do you have any pics of the back of yours?

No, I don't have a photo and it's been several months since I put it on so I don't remember exactly what it had on it, I seem to remember it was a hole with a slot in one position. I do remember that I had to remove the cylinder like you were going to access the tire and install the housing and then install the cylinder once the housing was on the bumper. And I had to install the housing before the bumper was on the truck. Could probably do after but was much easier off the truck.

When it is working properly, just the silver cylinder comes out when you access it, the black housing stays on the bumper. Sorry, don't remember exactly but it made sense when I did it.

I just went back and looked at the photo's of your bumper and I see the 2 slots that I remember in the hole for the housing. I don't remember there being a ridge on the back of the bumper. I will crawl under tonight and see what I can see.

That would be cool cause as is the cylinder will fit in the hole but without the ridge it wont stay in there.

Seems to be that I had to take the e ring off the back of the cylinder and install one piece from the back and one from the front, that is what held the housing in place. Mine is on a 2012 don't know if they are different on different years?
