AS some of you know the rear bumper of my truck was slightly damaged on the Lost Coast run. Nothing significant but it really brought out how horribly bad the stock bumper really is. It is so thin that a penny is thicker than it is. It reminded me of tin cans in the old days but not as sturdy as a tin can. It is a 3 piece bumper the top plastic piece, and two side pieces in turn attached to the receiver hitch. The receiver hitch is flawed since where the bumper attaches there is no re-enforcement to keep the tabs from just folding over. So after looking at options and coming up that probably Iron bull bumpers was the best choice. But the ADD stealth in my opinion looks better. So looks over brawn and I ordered the ADD bumper. Upon ordering I was promptly told 5 weeks maybe more. So I placed my order hoping things we go faster. I don't know how a company stays in business only building things as orders come in. The next day after talking to Iron bull they gave me a commitment of 3 weeks it would be on my door step... SO thinking one day I can just call ADD and cancel the order its only been one day... Yea no f'ing way you can cancel it is what it is and we now have parts on order for it so you have to pay a 300.00 re-stock fee to cancel.. So I live with it and ask please expedite the order... A day later Sean steps in hey I got a bumper with one small blemish you want that one I can ship it... So I said no problem it will be here by Friday? Sure its two days to Calif, we got it handled. The next day comes and late in the day I get a phone call, "we have a form you have to sign that says you know its damaged and can not warranty it. So I sign it... The next day comes, where is the bumper I asked.. Its on its way they replied. Will it be here Friday? Of course they said.. It did not actually get shipped until the next day for whatever reason. So Friday comes and goes no bumper. So I call Friday AM and ask... Sure let me get a tracking number.. Shows it is in San Francisco, I ask can you get them to do a Saturday delivery. Let me see what I can do.... No further response from ADD, the bumper shows up Monday...

So in the end I needed it by Friday and the attempted to get one two me. Management at ADD dragged there feet getting the paper work done.
I paid full price and got a slightly blemished bumper. Did not get by Friday when I needed it..

Now the good parts after having to drill out the holes since the new bumper bolts are twice the size of the old ones. Welding a support to box the frame in on the factory receiver hitch. Provides support to prevent the tabs from folding over. Test fitting it about 20 times I have a finished product to share pictures...

Like the bumper but hate the shipping delays with ADD. ****** part is the Raptor Mod Party was at your house and you had not done any work on your truck because the bumper didn't make it in time.

I am really trying to say ADD needs to step up to the plate. Customer service on one hands great, did get me a bumper in less than five weeks. However when it counted the most ADD simply dropped the ball, and the end is what you remember from any deal... My feelings are , to ADD, if you have a bumper that's scratched and cannot be sold as new, you have a ready willing able buyer, you might want to follow through on commitments and maybe cut the price a bit for damaged inventory.... Otherwise I like the product just know going in ADD is not going to have what you want it seems they don't make anything until its sold... We are a market place of instant gratification and if you believe in your product build them and they will come... But overall the product is great...

I agree with you. You did them a favor by paying full price for a damaged bumper and they still gave you the run around. Most small businesses just don't get that customer service is everything.
