Two years of Colorado winters, mudding, and many river crossings. Absolutely zero signs of rusting (or even wear for that matter). The coating on the frame is bulletproof and the plates are powder-coated to perfection.

I've had an ADD stealth on mine for 2.5 years and its great in the winter but buy it raw steel and get it sprayed with Linex and it will look like new for a long time. Any powder coated stuff will start rusting after one winter

Strafe (Adam) has the same ADD bumper powder coated from them, and it only took 6 months for it to show signs of rust here with our abundance of salt coated roads.
I agree with Gord, get it done locally (either powder or Linex) to deal with the conditions you have on a regular basis.

Luckily for me I live in L.A and all we get is rain. No salt on the roads. Nearest snow is Big Bear to the east and Gorman to the north

If your set on an ADD bumper I'd recommend reinforcing the frame horns. I did when I was running a Stealth. Personally I feel it held up better to far more abuse, because of it.

First winter of having my ADD stealth winch bumper it rusted with just their powder coating. Had line x put on and solved the problem.

How did you go about doing this?

My first front ADD bumper needed lots of touchup from the winter driving to keep the spots from rusting. The coating chips from small rocks and salt.
Here is the first one I had made.

I chose to line-x coat the second ADD bumper and I am glad i did.
