TLDR; My 2019 802A will not let me toggle between regular cruise control and adaptive cruise control no matter how hard I try to search for it in the cluster or NAV unit.

Hi all! I purchased my 2019 (second gen 2 for me previous was a 2018. I bought this used from a Nissan dealer) with 40k miles back in May 2024. I have put on about 10k miles since and been working out quirks and fixing to my preference.

One thing I can't seem to figure out is the adaptive cruise control. When I first noticed that it was not available, I pulled over into a gas station and took apart my front cowl to inspect the ACC module itself. I saw that it was unplugged. It was also pretty clear to me that whoever had the truck prior had fun with it because the OEM skid plate is bashed in and scratched up (I did the same thing with my previous, new, 18MY at Durhamtown events with the OG RTO group) I wasn't too worried about it as I figured it likely needed to be realigned, and recalibrated and maybe the reason why it was unplugged otherwise it would continuously say "Front Sensor not Aligned."

Yes, Im sure I have it equipped. My steering wheel has the buttons, and the module is installed at the front of the bumper)

I took my truck to a former ford tech that worked on my 18MY and opened his own shop. He was able to realign and calibrate it. He claims it works just fine on the back end and that everything is receiving power and responses from he steering wheel are clear. But he also cannot find where to toggle between adaptive and regular. So I believe we're down to a software issue.

I recently purchased FORscan to see if I can "enable" the option myself and maybe force write the truck so it KNOWS it HAS ACC. Still no luck. Before doing so, I made sure to save and backup the original data values. In doing so, I also downloaded the As built data from Motorcraft and decided to compare both sets of data to see any change. Sure enough I found something different in the BCM (where I think the ACC lives?) Photo attached (No VIN/Top is what came from truck. Bottom/As built data is what came from Motorcraft). Anyway, this is where I am at. I wanted to try to resolve this problem on my own before taking it to ford to get my CBF drum replaced as well. Experiencing some HARD shifts (feels like im getting rear ended when it engages in the higher gears. Very inconsistent)

Not that I could see. It's worth noting I also dont know what DTC are normal vs abnormal. Nothing as far as the BCM goes. However, when I did flash the BCM it was the first time it failed/interrupted. I was doing other mods before I got to it like the Lincoln fold mirrors, reverse mirrors, double honk etc and it was the only one that got interrupted. I cleared, restored disconnected and reconnected to start over safely and it went through with no problems but still didn't show up. I may try to write in the As built data tonight instead of the forscan data since it should be correct from factory.

You will need to compare asbuilt for the IPC. It's most likely disabled in there. Maybe 720-01-01 x*xx xxxx xxxx

OMG I didn't think to check there at all. I see now there is a ACC menu configuration. Will update with findings
Update: you were correct. I have since added the menu back in but now i get an error saying "Adaptive cruise not available"

Also, is it normal to have this many DTC codes and still not have a CEL??

Yes, it looks like most of those are U codes that are communication codes and can be ignored unless they don't clear.. I'd clear everything, and work with the codes that come back when you try and enable Adaptive Cruise. I'm guessing there is another setting.

You might be able to search this forum as I remember a thread or two where people were trying to disable ACC so might help narrow down what changes are needed to revert it
