Maybe @AdamsPolishes can shed some light on the Micro Revive, because I have a little left and I want to use it instead of just dump it down the drain and use the empty bottle for a dilution

I bought some before and tried it. Followed the instructions to the letter and it didn't help me much. Maybe my towels were too far gone.. but they look okay to me and I still use them

If the towels look OK, why would you say they are too far gone? What were you wanting to address?

Maybe try the boiling method at the bottom of this post.

I've been just using biodegradable detergent called amazing, did it help get the cling back I think what I use work's. but would like to try it sometime.

Regular laundry detergent might work good enough for drying towels, but for any towels that have wax, sealant, or conditioner on them, the regular laundry detergent is not strong enough to break these products down enough to get completely washed out. As a result, they tend to build up in the fibers, and reduce performance and lifespan.

No dumping! Use 3oz in the washing machine, warm water, extra rinse cycle, then dry on low heat.

It is also a good idea to run a cleaning cycle on the washing machine prior to doing your detailing towels. The washers get a lot of buildup from detergent and fabric softeners. Then, when you use a stronger detergent like the Microfiber Revitalizer & Brightener, this buildup gets broken down and mixed into your towels, which is bad. You can run a cleaning cycle with the specific cleaner or tablets recommended for you washer, or just fill both the detergent and fabric softener cups up with distilled white vinegar.

I have and use it. Although, not sure what it's doing for me.

It should be cleaning your microfiber towels and making them last longer.

Also, pre-treat any stains with a spray or two at full-strength. If you have a pile of really dirty towels, use a pre-soak with 3oz in a bucket of warm water, let them soak overnight, then run through the washing machine.

Finally, for towels that have a lot of build-up, and don't seem to soak up water when drying or that leave streaks behind, you can boil them as a last resort. Use a large cooking pot, add water and 1-2oz of distilled white vinegar, heat to boiling and stir. Add a couple towels, stir continuously while boiling for 60-90 seconds, remove with tongs, rinse under cool water, then run through the washer.

If the boiling does not improve the condition, then the towel may be at the end of its lifespan, and can be relegated to rag status.

Also, DO NOT boil foam applicators or pads, or they will be ruined.

The towels still feel fluffy and soft, but do have some darker stains on them. But using the revitalizer didn't lighten the stains at all. But after a normal machine wash they still retain the microfiber feel so I continue to use them. I meant too far gone as if too much stain for the revitalizer to clean. I'll try to the boiling method.

Some products, like Paint Sealant, can cause stains that don't wash out, but this does not affect the performance of the towel.

Dirt stains should wash out, especially when pre-treating the spots.
