@AdamsPolishes don't make fun of me for this question but the new "triple soft" towels.. are those a huge upgrade to the double softs, or did they tone down the double soft to a more hybrid towel and make the triple soft as a minor improvement over the double soft?

Curious because I thought the double softs were pretty damn plush lol. I'm unsure how it could have been improved that much..

Good question on the new towels, and the answer is more involved then just triple this or double that, as the density and the nap of all three new plush towels was changed.

I copied the following from a Post by Dan Tyger over on AdamsForums.com:

While the old Double Soft was rated at 1100GSM and the new one is rated at 920GSM, I can tell you that the new Double Soft is still excellent quality. It's as soft or softer feeling to me in my hands.

All 3 of our new towels are all new and improved, with satin edged borders for stronger construction.

Our old Single Soft and Double Soft Towels work great and are premium microfiber, but as with all of our products, we're always looking for ways to improve and make things better. If you have a bunch and they're still in great shape, keep on using them until they wear out, but here's my completely unscientific comparison shots of the New vs. Old Double Soft and Triple Soft vs. Old Double Soft below. The new towels in the pictures are unwashed, the old Double Soft Towel was used maybe once or twice and washed. All towels are folded in half, and then into thirds. I tried not to put any pressure on them when setting them on my desk to illustrate their true thickness.

And here's a comparison shot of New Single Soft, Double Soft, and Triple Soft in that order:

Good.. I'm glad it was a little more complicated so I didn't look dumb for asking lol.

It won't let me see it because I'm not a member, but I was thinking about signing up on the Adams forum anyways. Thanks Dan, and get some rest!

**made an account over there really quick so I could read the comparison info. I'll definitely be trying some of those triple softs! My double softs are good for now, and I prefer the grey towels over single softs. But I definitely want to get my hands on some triple softs!

Sorry, I forgot you can't see the pics without being a member on Adam's Forums. Not really sure why they have it set up that way, I will check into changing it.

Lol, well I'm a member now so I suppose I'll have to introduce myself over there

You think there are some addicts here on FRF? Wait until you start browsing around the Adam's Forum. Those guys (and gals) are Adam's bingers! Just remember - Adam's is made in Colorado where certain things are legal. Coincidence? I think not.

uh and I need towels why do you do this lol.

I took a short cut the other day needed to just rinse off the truck so I put gg and shampoo in the same bucket. I don't think it worked but was way short on time just about didn't get it dryed off in time to go.

Sorry Wilson, adding H2O Guard & Gloss to your wash water will not work at all, since it will react with the water and won't end up sticking to the paint.
