@AdamsPolishes don't make fun of me for this question but the new "triple soft" towels.. are those a huge upgrade to the double softs, or did they tone down the double soft to a more hybrid towel and make the triple soft as a minor improvement over the double soft?
Curious because I thought the double softs were pretty damn plush lol. I'm unsure how it could have been improved that much..
Good question on the new towels, and the answer is more involved then just triple this or double that, as the density and the nap of all three new plush towels was changed.
I copied the following from a Post by Dan Tyger over on AdamsForums.com:
While the old Double Soft was rated at 1100GSM and the new one is rated at 920GSM, I can tell you that the new Double Soft is still excellent quality. It's as soft or softer feeling to me in my hands.
All 3 of our new towels are all new and improved, with satin edged borders for stronger construction.
Our old Single Soft and Double Soft Towels work great and are premium microfiber, but as with all of our products, we're always looking for ways to improve and make things better. If you have a bunch and they're still in great shape, keep on using them until they wear out, but here's my completely unscientific comparison shots of the New vs. Old Double Soft and Triple Soft vs. Old Double Soft below. The new towels in the pictures are unwashed, the old Double Soft Towel was used maybe once or twice and washed. All towels are folded in half, and then into thirds. I tried not to put any pressure on them when setting them on my desk to illustrate their true thickness.
