should or can you use soft water to wash with I have salt spot's all over my truck just did a quick rinse the other day. didn't have time to wipe down and now full of spot's. is that better than hard water spot's?

Yes, soft water spots are not near as bad as hard water spots, but you should still dry the truck after washing so you get a spot free finish.

The only way to "rinse and walk away" is with deionized or reverse osmosis water. You won't get spots since there are no minerals in the water.
