My plan right now is to have a 30” onx6 Spot mounted low in an aftermarket bumper, with 4 LP9s or LP6s mounted on top of the bumper/front of the grille. (Two spot and two driving combo).

I originally was going to go with a pair of amber XL80s for a-pillar lights wide cornering (on order actually), but am toying with the idea of going with a pair of LP4s instead.

Comparing the two lights, the XL 80s are slightly smaller but seem to have a slightly higher output? Any other differences?

LP4s have the IPT technology, XLs do not. I can't speak to output on the lp4s as I haven't seen one in person yet.

Like Zombie said, down low is where you want the wide cornering lights so why not try the 30” bar in W/C instead of spot. Then go with XLs in Spot up on the a pillars (80 or racers). The LPs in D/C would augment the near and fill the midfield perfectly sitting on top of the front bumper. Some overlap is beneficial but it’s a waste to just duplicate with all those expensive lights. With all that candle power you are going to need a relay box setup for sure.
