A little FYI for people in used SCT tuner market

This morning I tried to reflash my truck back to stock. This is NOT a used tuner. I bought it new from Mike two weeks ago. Trying to return it to stock so I can get some work done at the dealer. I flashed my truck ONCE with the 87 econ tune from Mike at 5Star. the tuner has only been connected to my vehicle one time, and never another vehicle. Today I tried to return to stock at I get the same errors as the OP. I will be calling Mike and SCT this afternoon I suppose.

I also bought used. Sounds exactly like my experience, minus the trip to the dealer.

Lesson learned: never do modifications outside of tech support hours.

Spoke to Mike this afternoon and he said that SCT indicates there is a firmware issue with some units. The fix is to call SCT directly and as the OP stated they will remotely access your system to fix the tuner. I will do that tomorrow and report back.

Just a point of clarification in case you missed it, my tuner is brand new and I still had this issue.
