Hey guys! any solutions found for this issue? just recently started having the same issues going from 7th gear to 8th. Seems to have a delay in the gear change, then revs about 100-200 rpms. I tried putting it into manual mode, problem is not present. Also seems to be gone when placed in sport mode. Im guessing this is a ECU issue? I don't feel like its a mechanical issue. Thanks in advanced!
Get the re-flash done, or get forscan and reset the transmission learning bits.

I dislike my slip and sometimes loss of gear between 7 and 8. I have a tune. The Ford ECU Bulliten has not been applied. Does anyone who has had Ford Reflash with the Service Bulliten continue to have Transmission Shifting and Bobbling? Im so sick of driving in M past 5th gear...LOL...and when manually shifting it raises 500 between 7 and 8..Thanks Y'all!!!

You would need to have your tuner build the file using the latest Ford PCM/TCM calibration. Otherwise as soon as you tune it the updated calibration will be overwritten.

Its even worse..LOL..You are absolutely correct..I want to go to Pismo Beach this weekend, so im late night auto shop..Wanted a quick fix, (reprogram and erase all computers memories, trans works for 6 months..) so I decided to reprogram. Unfortunately, I forgot that if I update to the latest version firmware, my tune, which made me delete all others due to CUSTOM TUNE..will make my custom tune corrupt. Well, when the SCT box completed programming and updating, reverse goes in and out while backing up, undriveable..need a tune Email tomorrow bad..Anyone who can help, I will pay for a tune Emailed, I will give all ECU information, vin, address, $$$..Thanks!!! I just read the thread and my tuner did get the ECM PCM stratagies, plus a plethora of SCT box information, vin, date of manufacture plus some I don't remember. Worked fantastic minus I prefer my full throttle shifts 500 +-from redline, my and most tunes seem to go to 5850 to 6000 RPM and drop to 5400...over where I would like more turbo loads and the dyno sheets steer me...I ****** up

Resurrecting this 3.5 year old thread. My 2019 is doing it at 44k miles - 7-8 shift, revs up and kind of announces itself when it shifts LOL. Out of warranty now, should I take it in for the TSB fix? Is it going to hurt anything if I don't?
