When you're already spending $50,000, what's another ten grand to get what you want. Ford really forces you to pick 802A. Months ago when the sheets came out this quickly became apparent, with the base 800A getting shit like the baby
you-cheaped-out screen on the dash, and the garage door opener being a $8,000 option.
Seriously, a garage door opener should come standard on a $50k truck.
I'm an all-or-nothing kinda guy so it would pretty much be loaded or stripped. I tried coming up with some 801A builds but by the time I add what I want, I'm approaching $60k, and the difference to get 802A with all the trimmings is $3,767. No brainer, spend the extra $3,767. But the question is, do I even need 801A or not.
At a bare minimum for me it's going to be at least $53,005 for just a stripper 800A Supercrew with the front diff added. If I add the sub, it's $53,700. My 802A build is $62,130, so another $8,430 to get everything. Now essentially that's $8,430 worth of garbage like a bigger screen, heated seats, keyless entry, etc which is completely overpriced but regardless you have to do it anyway.
