801a mirrors

Anybody actually get body color mirrors that ordered the led spot lights?? Seems everyone has to file a misbuild. Just wondering if I'll have to do the same when mine comes.

They're not color matched with 801a and spot lights. They'll still be black.

They are supposed to be. Filed a misbuilt claim with the dealer. Had new covers in a day and dealer painted them for me.

Yes they are suppose to b color matching if u get led and power mirrors.

You are correct and mine did not come that way, so the dealer had to replace the skull caps. That said, I really like the body colored skull caps, especially on my Oxford white truck. Looks good both ways, but having the skull caps painted adds some character in my opinion.

Have the dealer get you the right set then you can choose. The body colored ones look way better in person. One thing I've noticed with this truck is it doesn't looks as good in pictures as it does in person, it's totally different. It's a straight up badass truck.

I was just trying to find out if anybody with a 801 actually got it correct with out filling a miss build

I didn't get mine in body color. Didn't bother working with the dealer to get new ones since it was so far away.

Hmmm... intereating. Mine are all black as well, but they also don't have the built in defrosters. Is this supposed to be standard with 801a package or did you have to add them on seperate? I do miss the defroster feature.
