Like the thread title says. Has anyone used 2x 8" light bars for fogs? How do they work out?

How about vs. a set of D2s?

Searched and found nothing so appreciate the feedback.

We've had one customer go that route. The only issue with this setup is that the 8" bars are unable to project the light forward due to the mounting angle. That's totally fine as long as side lighting is your goal.

See here:

Now this setup totally works if you have plenty of forward facing light. In this case, the truck above has dedicated forward facing bars in the lower grille opening and then used these Baja Designs OnX 8" bars as auxiliary/side/ditch lighting. It all depends on what lights you currently have and where you want to take your setup.

I'll send you a PM now as well to go over all of your options.

If you are really wanting fog lights, neither of your options have a fog beam pattern. In addition, both of your options are not DOT legal to operate on road.

Of course they're not DOT legal - Not looking strictly for on road fog use, but more side lighting for off road (ditches, animals, etc.). Misused the term fogs there in the title!

Wondering if the D2s or dual 8" would be better for that use. I've only seen the one apollo optics posted above and wondered if other members here had the same setup / how it works out for them :)

Hey there!

Bailey here with Baja Designs. We offer a great fog pocket kit for 4 LED Auxiliary Lights or 2-8" OnX LED Light Bars. A HUGE advantage over the other lights you mentioned is our uService Technology. This allows you to easily change a lens pattern or color to fine tune your light setup. Try this with most of our competitors and you will be left in the dark without a warranty. We allow you to change them without affecting the Lifetime Warranty.

We do have a lot of customers running the OnX 8" in Amber and White Wide Driving. Yes the light is aimed out towards the shoulders but your view isn't only limited to the sides. The Wide Driving is a 44 Degree Horizontal Beam pattern that will fully cover the center of the road and expand towards the shoulders. You can really aim these out far and still have the beam meet in the center.

We also offer Wiring Solutions for you to easily plug these lights into your upfitter connections! No need for messy unwanted wiring under the hood.

Hi Bailey,
I've emailed you about pricing in regards to this package and the RZR grill and light but haven't heard back yet. It's been a week or so now.
Is the issue that you do not ship to Canada?
Thanks.
