70-80mph transmission slipping, hard shifts from drive to reverse

The dealership doesn’t know exactly what is wrong, they said it could be a valve body on the transmission. They want to remove and replace. Unless they see metal shavings in the transmission then they have to kinda go from there.

Not paying 20k over sticker lol im in socal. I have a deposit on the R but 7th in line. Might just fix it and sell the damn thing.
