I'm no longer discounting this rumor. That sure will **** off all you 2017-18 Gen 2 owners if this is true. Especially the ones who paid ADM's. Prices will drop like a used Dodge Ram on those 17-18 Raptors.

not an issue. the V8 will be a specialty Raptor like the GT500 is to the Mustang. They will be so hard to get. 95% of the buyers would be priced out of that trck.

3-4 years out forced induction V8 is coming back ford changed their mind on leaving the Ecoboost. Could still flip flop back but that's what I was told they had a meeting last week and a new supercharged V8 is back on the table for the Raptor for 2022 or 2023.

Sounds legit. I was told the same thing by an internet stranger mere seconds before posting this reply.

PaxPower is making the Powerstroke Raptor, which for those of you all hating on the ecoBoot 3.5 liter might be a good option the torque on this engine is a monster it can do everything and more than a turbo Raptor all while obtaining 7-10 mpg more than the ecoBoot. The Gen 1s are getting old but the Raptor and the 6.2 liter boss engine is what made a Raptor a Raptor, The Lion diesel motor is a Europe proven Jaguar/ Land Rover option which so far has been a great motor even with the added cost of maintenance/ diesel fuel.

Yes, because the diesel's 440 torque "can do everything and more than a turbo Raptor", which puts out 510. WTF?

There are deleted and tuned 3 liter powerstrokes putting out an additional 250-300 ft lbs while obtaining 28 mpg whiie doing it so yes it can do a lot more than than the 3.5 liter gas burner.

500 hp and 800 ft lbs out of a 3 liter diesel motor is impressive
