6.2L spark plug change - tips and tricks

Was a five minute job on the Ford Edge... just wondering if it's the same? Thinking it will be five mins well spent.

Five minutes on the front three plugs, sure. The back three not so much.

He's saying it took 5 min to pull the fender liner on an Edge. I think it'll take a lot longer than take on the Raptor, but I've never taken them out.

I looked at the removal of the front wheel well liners on my GEN1 and my assessment was that it was going to be a great deal more trouble than it was worth. So I proceeded with the spark plug R&R without messing with the wheel well liners and my personal experience was that my initial assessment was correct.

Just wanted to write and say thank you. 5 years after you put this info here, and its still helping members out both old and new. Looking forward (kind of) to digging into the truck today. I have a 4wd shift motor, inner and outer tie rods, plugs/wires/boots, and some other minor things to install after work. Have a great day man.

Be prepared to dig out years of leaves, bugs, and dirt that accumulate between the plastic liner and the sheetmetal at the footwell.
