Can you guys that know the 6.2 well tell me the good things about the motor?

Is it a forged crank, pistons , rods, 4 bolt mains, roller rockers..that type of info.

Also what are the weak links in the motor?

Thanks

Key features and benefits:
Dual equal variable cam timing for outstanding torque
Cam torque actuated variable cam timing optimizes intake and exhaust valve opening and closing events to maximize fuel economy
Twin spark plugs ensure a smooth stable idle and efficient combustion
Tuned composite intake manifold and ports tuned for optimal airflow resulting in excellent torque across entire engine speed range
Large single intake and exhaust valves for outstanding breathing
Stiff overhead cam roller-rocker shaft valvetrain
High-strength deep skirt block with 4 bolt mains and side bolts for strength and durability
High compression ratio enhances engine efficiency
Optimized combustion process to reduce emissions and harshness
Cast exhaust manifolds for heavy duty operation and durability
Piston cooling jets for improved fuel economy and durability
Integral oil cooler for improved towing capability
Adaptive knock control
Aggressive Deceleration Fuel Shut-off (ADFSO) for improved fuel economy
Flexible Fuel (E85) capable (F-Series Super Duty only)
Oil changes are required as indicated by the Message Center and according to the recommended maintenance schedule. Refer to the vehicle Owner'™s Guide for additional maintenance information

That one in red was news to me.

They are just plain ol pistons and rods. Not forged. Crank is cast. Pistons are Hypereutectic, rods are probably cast. Maybe powdered metal but I think cast either way not ready for big numbers or lots of spray

What would be the accepted "most rear wheel horsepower" this 6.2L could produce through a Raptors drivetrain? That would be good to know.

All you need to know is this engine and transmission survived the Baja 1000, granted the engine was slightly tuned, but it is still a very solid and reliable power train. Ford clearly put serious time into it. You should be happy with it!

There are people using forced induction on these engines and 411hp is little horsepower in comparison. How much can they take? When do they start to blow chunks? :)

Z. That is a forged built engine displacing 460cid.

If I go turbo or charger. How far should people push the stock 6.2?
