Friend of mine had a Denali, straight piped. Loudest thing ever. No cats, no mufflers. And headers. Would set off car alarms from 2 blocks away if he gunned it

These vids with the Kooks on are with the windows down and under full load in sand, hence why it sounds so violent. What I like about my set-up is that it is somewhat tame just driving around but, when it's time, it lets everyone know;)

Yeah well after years of workin with power tools and hammer drills, I have about 40% of my hearing left. I don't really notice the drone much at 1800-2000, but people I'm on the phone with sorta complain a bit until I speed up...
The sound is not as obnoxious as those 'need for speed' style rice burners with the 4 cyl engine and a 5" exhaust tip. Its a healthy rumble at low RPM's and a banshee wail at 4500! The way trucks were supposed to sound... and used to back in the 60's and 70's. It's loud, but there's worse out there :)

I'm going to use this the next time I get a ticket.
Oh I was speeding officer? My gf was complaining of the drone so, well, you know how it is, drone and bitching or no drone and speeding.....LOL!

Yea a Peavey 5150 II with a couple of 4x12 cabinets will do that to your hearing too...:)

There are just too many ways to ruin ones hearing while having clean honest fun.

Old noisy ass Engines and Train Horns are hard on my hearing but for now I'm still good last hearing test still had perfect hearing. You get some of the old Engineers and/or conductors and they are almost all deaf.
