5W50 oil in Roush supercharger?

I don't recall JDM or Roush recommending to switch oil weight once I supercharged my 2013. Kept it on 5w-20.

No they didn't and Whipple didn't either.
There are a bunch of us SC and NA that switched years ago and never looked back.
I gained .05 in mpg plus the valve ticking at startup is practically gone.

And I didn't see any difference when pouring one weight or the other into the funnel, they both run like water.
My daughter's 2013 Escape Titanium EcoBoost uses 5-W30

I was curious about running 5W-30 in a regular truck as well. I have it on the shelf for my 13 Flex Ecoboost.
