I'm going to be a Raptor owner that's for sure in the next few days, as I'm currently in process of purchasing a used 2010 example from a Ford dealer. One problem though the parking brake wont disengage fully, So it's bit rough but the price is right....So 50% owner would be a correct terminology.

Congrats and welcome. So is the dealer going to fix the problem as that seems odd that a place like that would sell something defective if pointed out to them.

In G.C.C the dealer standards are a lot different to the states or Europe. It's a sold as seen with no warranty, so it's a gamble and I'm no stranger to purchasing pre owned car with one or two minor faults with them. Besides cheapest way to obtain a Raptor, especially when you've got Liberia's deficit in your pocket.

*News Flash* the 2010 Raptor that I was looking at just came back from it's inspection report and it's very bad news. A shopping list of problems, so much so it would put me in debt to fix them all. I'll keep on looking, so near yet so far....:emotions122:

Thanks for welcomes guys

Unless the repairs are major, drivetrain or major electronics, I might view this as an opportunity to deduct at least double the repairs in my initial offer. One has to wonder, though, how the truck was treated if there is a laundy list of things wrong, I have a 2011 SCREW with 65K miles and it is pretty much perfect. I take care of my stuff, but it has been off road a fair bit with no detrimental impact.
