I did mine last weekend, no issues at all. Spark plug boots were brown once you unclip them and pull them out.
Night before:
-1/2 Can of Seafoam in the vacuum line then turned off the truck quickly.
-Pulled the brown boots and sprayed penetrating fluid into the holes where the spark plugs were and let it sit overnight.
-This all took about 30 min total.
-Next morning all 8 plugs came out like butter. Installed new Motorcraft replacement plugs.
-I didn’t put antisieze on them, I didn’t want any misfiring issues. I’ll just replace them again in another 75K.
-This took less than 1 hour.
Bought the tool from Amazon and shipped it back when I didn’t need it.
