Hey guys sorry it took so long to get back to this post. Recently took the truck into the local Ford stealership and of course they claim nothing is wrong. They said it came from the dealership like that. I insisted it wasn't right but they were 100% sure it was fine. Then they brought there "head tech" from the back to show me the 4WD was working. He drove me to the back of the lot which was concrete and put the truck in 4wd high and low then turned the wheel back and forth and said "the hubs are locked it's working". He didn't know how to get the truck out of 4low. Long story short I left the dealership pissed off knowing the truck wasn't right. So this weekend I was out at the hunting property down here in Florida where it rains every other day and nothing but mud. Sure enough the truck doesn't go into 4wd and displayed the Check 4x4 light. What do I do now? Go back and complain or find another dealership to deal with the same thing. Oh ya btw got stuck out in the trails and broke my winch line. I've got a Warn 12k with steele cable. Thanks Ford lol!

My truck has 38,*** miles. I just booked an appointment with Sarsota Ford a dealealwrahip about an hour and half from where I live. They have a Raptor division over there so I feel confident that they will get it fixed.

Sounds good, FordRaptor813; I'm sure you'll be in good hands. If you need me to step in and assist, just let me know.

Hey got an update for everyone. Sarasota Ford fixed the truck. They replaced a transfer case motor but didn't say anything about repairing the vacuum lines. It's just back on the main line but they didn't specify what they did to it. As long as it works I'm happy. Of course after it all gets fixed I noticed transmission fluid dripping from the truck. It's coming from between the trans and transfer case on the passenger side in front of the cross member. This is such a headache. I've got an appointment at local dealership tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your troubles! Seems hard to find a dealership that REALLY has its act together and has a Quality Assurance dept on the ball.

Keep us posted.

It was an O-ring for the transmission wires that was leaking. Seems to be a fairly common problem on these trucks. I've seen a few other post from other guys with the same problem. All is good now though. Can't wait to do some wheelin out here shortly. Been seeing a lot of Raptors most of them stock. Wish all the Florida guys off here would meet up.
