40s on methods

Will a 40/13.5/17 tire work ok with the Method MR307 hole matte black wheels
Size 17x8.5/6x135/0 offset 4.75 back space?

Lol, my stock tires rub with method wheels 17s 4.75 bs, u will need to cut half truck away to run 40s,

Is this a serious question? Did you really think you could easily bolt on a wheel that sticks out 1.5 further with a tire that's 5" taller out 1" wider without MAJOR modification? This has to be a joke.

There are more than you think. Most have major mods but they're out there.

Well that truck has different fenders (and possibly other mods), so it definitely modified. None of that was mentioned in the original post, which would have been good information to share with a question about wheel and tire fitment.
