Just installed the blackhawk 40 and i thought the quality of the light was great. Pretty bright as well. Only problem i had was that when i installed the plastic thing in front the radiator really pushed up against the back of the blackhawk and doesn't allow you to tilt it up or down. Did anyone else have this problem? Seems like the plastic piece needs to be trimmed or something

Give us a call tomorrow and we can walk you through it. The plastic piece does need to be trimmed.

This is what it looks like close up when it's not lit up.

Does not look bad. Still having trouble deciding if I should get a light bar for behind the grill or one for under the grill in that open space near the front license plate.

Like WW's pic up there in obviously chose to keep the 2 Blackhawks behind the grill since I was putting the winch in. I will say that the 2 white D2 and the 2 whelen micro pioneers put out about as much light as the 30 and 40 behind the grill.
