Birdie, you say are using Aux 1, so i'm assuming you had to change the aux 1 fuse to either a 10 or 15 amp. Or did you go with the 30 amp fuse? I thinking it doesn't draw that much amperage!

Yeah I left the 30a. I don't see any reason to change it out for a lighting device. If it's a pump or a motor for example that draws a variable current based on the load it's under, you can get it to trouble and start talking about failures and fires if there isn't a properly sized fuse. For a light, it draws a constant current and really if it grounds out it will blow any size fuse anyway.

When I saw the L mounting bracket I was worried about the quality of the light.
The light kicks ass but the 5 cent bracket is not worthy of the product.
I even laughed at your picture of you hold it.

Ok, instead of making my own thread, I thought I would just add on to Birdmans. (hope you don't mind!)

I also ordered the 40" led from MandR and I have to say. I LOVE this light.

I like others have said, HATE the brackets.

I ended up calling Mike on the phone and even Facetiming with with. His customer service is awesome and I would not even hesitate in buying more lights from him. Great price, Great product, Great service. (the 40" LED brackets being the only negative)

I went to install the light and immediately noticed that the brackets did not line up with the holes in my bump stops. I spent an hour jacking with it and finally after bending, adjusting, adding and subtracting spacers, I got it to fit. It seems sturdy and the light sits nicely.

As far as output, the light is crazy bright! I like to tell people that now my raptor has teeth! I showed the light to the Rock and Roll guys here in Fort Worth and they were impressed as well.

This is why I haven't bought it yet. Give me a bracket that doesn't have to be rigged with washers and a nut for spacers, and I'm in.

When I get my truck (bastards!!) I'll be able to take some measurements and make my own brackets, if M&R hasn't provided something better by then.
