Great setup. I bought two LP4 amber for A pillars but am having second thoughts seeing your awesome work.

Pretty simple really. The lower the lights, the more opportunity for the light pattern to be obstructed. Tumbleweeds in the desert pretty much cut out most lower bumper mounted light if your off trail.

bumper mount > bumper pocket lights or fogs. upper grille mount > bumper mount - radiator obstruction --MAY-- be a discussion for later but again, another discussion. Pillar mount > upper grille and roof mount > pillar mount

No “one” mounting solution is THE answer. you should have lights in multiple position to provide better perspective and less obstruction.

I still say 2x bumper LP’s and 2x pillar. You won’t be disappointed.

About to do the same set up. Did you just drill holes in the bumper, put a nut on the bottom and that’s it? Or did you put a metal plate on the bottom and sandwich the bumper in the middle? I wasn’t sure if the bumper was rigid enough to have the light bolted directly to it

Just drilled though and mounted them to the bumper directly. The metal seems strong enough but I’ve been having issues of the bolts wiggling loose on long multi day runs. I have locking nuts on the back and it still comes a bit loose. I need to figured out a solution to keep those tight. If you plan to just do light off-roading than I don’t think you’ll run into the same issues.

Hi everyone, I did the same set up at SCMIKE but moved the lights over to get more view from the front camera. I made some plates to sandwhich the bumper in between the two.

Side note: two LP6’s are rated under 15amps so I wired them with out relays and they blew the fuse.

I used the wire harness kit from @Specialtyperformanceparts for everything and it was super simple.

Installed same on my ADD bolt on pro with light loop tonight. I run a LVJ relay and just did high beams. Where did you get the running light input from?
