Was this question ever definitively answered? Figured we may start getting some answers now that trucks are beginning to trickle out. Im really hoping that the 802 package gets the 8" screen. I've searched on the forum and elsewhere online but can't find a concrete answer. So many conflicting stories answers and reports out there. I didn't order the tech package upgrade, just the 802a. Hoping that it's not tech package exclusive, if it is even an option at all.

I answered this on page 2 of this thread. It is a part of 802A.

Yeah I did see that you answered it. I'm just wondering how we can be sure? The brochure/pdf you reference from ford says 8" but ford site also says only 4.2 available. Just wondering if all the pictures and videos out there with the larger screen are not indicative of the actual production units and the large screen was scrapped "last minute" and the literature wasn't updated to reflect. Not doubting you. I just would like to know so I can modify my order before it's too late if I need to. Thanks.

Fair enough. I haven't watched that video yet. :handshake:

You can also go to Ford's brochures and look at the F-150. It says that the 8" screen is part of the 802 package. But if you don't get the 802 package, then you are stuck with the little 4.2" screen.

Yeah and that's where part of the confusion comes from, for me anyway. The brochure says one thing and then the ford website says the Raptor only gets the 4.2 and the 8 is for lariat, platinum, other high level trims, etc. I'm gonna watch this press release video or whatever it's called. As soon as I see a photo with the 8 inch screen from a raptor from a dealership and not one supplied by ford for media or demos I'll be satisfied haha

On the forfds web site I found a new order guide for f-series and it did state the 8" screen is part of an upgrade package and the 4.2 is standard, looks like it will be part of the 802a package.
