Hey all,

So I’m currently running Toyo Open Country AT3 325/60/20 on my Gen 2. (Measure to 35.4’ tall) Originally wanted 37s when I first swapped stock set but shop didn’t have in stock so I pulled the trigger..

Dilemma now is I want to go up to a 37 but also want to keep the extra width that the 325/60/20 has. Hence why I was looking into 37x13.50x20 over the standard 37x12.50x20.

Is anybody running this set up? Want to avoid cutting or trimming of any kind. Truck is leveled with Icon leveling kit and the wheels are +12. Curious to get some more insight. Would also be looking to trade my current rubber which only has 3k miles (Located on Long Island NY) Thanks in advance!

There is a member on here that is running 13.5 wide on a Gen 3. He had to cut and trim quite a bit to make it work. And Gen 3's have more wheel well room. +12 might help but on a Gen 2 but I have a feeling you will rub unless you go up a bit higher with springs. This is just my opinion.

What width do your current 325's measure out to. 35.4x ??. You are probably okay with current width only because they are 35.4 tall. If you add another inch or two in height it will probably be problematic, especially when off-roading and under compression.

I’m running 37x13.50x17. And not without front end changes. Fox 3.0s, +4 glass, 0 offset Methods, and UCAs. Even with that, I doubt you could pull off running those wheels.

Yeah I have zero rubbing with current width. Think it measures to about 13. I do like the extra width which is why I was thinking 37x13.50x20 over the standard 12.50x20 size.

I don’t really want to get involved with cutting a whole bunch of plastic and having to lift the truck tbh. If I want to go up in tire height I would probably be okay with the 37x12.50x20 then I assume?

Thanks for the insight bro. Definitely gonna keep these wheels so I’ll have to make sure whatever I do fits with minimal to zero trimming. I think the extra height just looks so good on the 37s.

I have Eibach springs, 0 offset wheels, and 37x12.5x17 Geolandars. I was rubbing the cab side at full lock, i cut quite a bit of stuff out but i think i could fit 13.5's now

Ya, if you run 37x12.50x17 you will be fine. But put your steering into full lock both directions, look how much space you have. Depending on tire brand you may still have some rub. I would think you could run BFG'S since they are a bit smaller than other brands.

I have 37x12.5R17 on my Gen 2 with Geisers up front and zero offset Methods. Had to trim and do the pinch weld mod. Unfortunately you can't just throw on 37s without trimming on a Gen 2.

Do you know if a 37x12.50x20 would fit without trimming by chance? +12 offset wheels. May suck it up and go the narrower tire to not have to trim at all (or as much)

Doubtful. I had 37x12.5R20 zero offset on at the start. Had to switch down to 17s due to Alcons. Had to remove the front fender flares and mud flaps to even drive home. Then trimming and pinch weld mod.

I still need to get fenders before I send it too many more times. Or they will self clear themselves.
