*sigh* Did you just call the Raptor "exotic'?
It's a freakin pickup. Please stop with these comments.
We all know people like to talk up the things they own but stop the lies.
The dealerships are already feeding people a healthy serving of bullcrap so they dont need more from current owners.

BTW there were several times between 2017 and 2020 that you could get Raptors BELOW MSRP.

Woooosh... that was the sound of all the common sense in the world flying right over your head. Not that your first statement deserves a response, but when taken out of context it really make someone look stupid. I referenced any vehicle that's "more exotic" in nature that pulls ADM. And, yes, the Raptor falls into that category, just like the GT500 does from Fords current stable of offerings. If you don't understand the difference, well... your second statement helps me understand why.

Of course you COULD get the Raptor for MSRP, or under, or even under invoice back in those years, but it was driven by the demand of the area and the region to which you bought. I explicitly said this in my post, so how you miss it and say something dumb like this is impressive to say the least. I paid under MSRP for my Gen1, paid under invoice for my Gen2 and paid over for my 37pp Gen3. And I had to drive for it(9 hours). I called dealers for weeks, spent way too much time on the phone chasing leads that never panned out. It was a waste of my time and if I could go back and just have taken the first one I saw 10k over when I had the chance it would have saved my some grief along the way. My gen3 story is well documented here though, don't need to rehash that, but end of the day good luck out on the east coast getting one of these in NY/NJ for less than 20k over.. same for Cali/AZ. You gotta know someone who knows someone. It is what it is.

Funny because your money made the same sound once you agreed on that ADM.
To be “taken out of context” something actually needs to be taken out of context. You have now called a Raptor an ”exotic” in two posts so if anyone is making you look stupid it’s clearly you.
The ONLY reason the Raptor is limited right now is the supply chain issues that’s limiting every other vehicle. I guess by your description that also makes KIA’s “exotic” since theyre more limited and also pulling ADM’s.
Certain GT500s are limited even in a “normal“ market whereas the Raptor would just be another mass produced pickup truck so ..no they don’t fall into the same category.
You’re one of the reasons why some people come in here and think ADM is ok. They believe your comments for facts when in reality they have as much validity as flatulence.

Dude, ADM is not "okay" or "not" okay.... It's just the market at work. If you have the time to wait, maybe... maybe you'll get one for less. ;)
Or order and wait...
Or pay the market rate and drive one now.
You get to choose what works for YOU.
It's not "right or wrong" or dealers "********" people. It's just business.
I've paid way UNDER msrp when there were lots of cars on the lots. That is not the world we live in at the moment.
Oh and the Raptor is a "Ford Performance" product, maybe not as "exotic" as a Ferrari but not ordinary either...

All you guys paying ADMs better pray this market does not correct itself in the next couple of years. Cash buyers, what do they care, it just costs a little more for this toy. But God help anyone who is financing these things. You are going to be so flipped in these things that you'll never get out.
Naw. Paid 10k adm but now only owe 62. I should be good for good while.

Look, a 'baller' has arrived. He paid a mere $10K ADM and now only owes $62K. He is exactly the guy I was referring to.

I've been making calls and cant find anything for sticker. So far the choice is to buy one that's on its way from the factory for $10K over, or get on a the 8 deep list and wait, then pay $10K over.
