*sigh* Did you just call the Raptor "exotic'?
It's a freakin pickup. Please stop with these comments.
We all know people like to talk up the things they own but stop the lies.
The dealerships are already feeding people a healthy serving of bullcrap so they dont need more from current owners.
BTW there were several times between 2017 and 2020 that you could get Raptors BELOW MSRP.
Woooosh... that was the sound of all the common sense in the world flying right over your head. Not that your first statement deserves a response, but when taken out of context it really make someone look stupid. I referenced any vehicle that's "more exotic" in nature that pulls ADM. And, yes, the Raptor falls into that category, just like the GT500 does from Fords current stable of offerings. If you don't understand the difference, well... your second statement helps me understand why.
Of course you COULD get the Raptor for MSRP, or under, or even under invoice back in those years, but it was driven by the demand of the area and the region to which you bought. I explicitly said this in my post, so how you miss it and say something dumb like this is impressive to say the least. I paid under MSRP for my Gen1, paid under invoice for my Gen2 and paid over for my 37pp Gen3. And I had to drive for it(9 hours). I called dealers for weeks, spent way too much time on the phone chasing leads that never panned out. It was a waste of my time and if I could go back and just have taken the first one I saw 10k over when I had the chance it would have saved my some grief along the way. My gen3 story is well documented here though, don't need to rehash that, but end of the day good luck out on the east coast getting one of these in NY/NJ for less than 20k over.. same for Cali/AZ. You gotta know someone who knows someone. It is what it is.
