Nobody was laughing at you or making fun of your question. Your initial question/post wasn't worded very well and I believe many thought you were looking for someone to trade the standard beadlock wheels for the 37 beadlock wheels straight up; your title said "plus cash," but it wasn't included in the post. I'll acknowledge that the Raptor is already a pretty elite truck and some owners are a little snobby... the 37PP owners seem to take that to the next level, jokingly calling the 35 trucks a "Peasant Raptor." Regardless, you kinda came in swinging as a new member, but thank you for finally taking the high road and coming clean on the first few pages of shenanigans. Tough call on the black vs grey 37PP wheels on Avalanche; I have coworker who just bought got a 23 Avalanche 37PP and it looks sweet with the black wheels, but I think the 21-22 grey colored wheels look just as good... personal preference.
The reason the 37PP wheels go for a premium used is because the 37PP from Ford is turn-key and very convenient to the buyer, but it really isn't a good value. Most people that ponied up the $5250 for the 37PP (21-22 was cheaper) to have 37" tires from the factory aren't going to be willing to sell their wheels, so the ones that are for sale go for a premium. I ordered a 23 w/o the 37PP, sold my OE takeoff tires and wheels for $2500 (incl. spare), purchased 37 BFG KO2s and aftermarket wheels (Fifteen52 Range HD) for $3400, and purchased the set of four Eibach lift springs for $900. At the end of the day I'll have OE 37" tires, wheels I think are nicer than the 37PP wheels, less offset with the aftermarket wheels for a wider stance and IMO better look, truck will sit taller with the Eibachs, and I don't have the -1" front and rear suspension travel that the 37PP trucks do. I'm $1800 out of pocket and better off than what the $5250 37PP gets you from Ford and the tire/wheel combo doesn't rub on anything with zero trimming under full tuck. It would have been nice if Ford didn't have to shave 1" off the 37PP trucks front and rear suspension up travel, but they would have had to make the trucks slightly taller (~1") and it became an issue for PedPro (Pedestrian Protection) and bumper height federal regulations. The 37PP trucks and even Raptor R having 1" less suspension travel (~8% less) than the "Peasant Raptor" for more money was a deal breaker for me.
Good luck w/ your decisions and hope you enjoy the truck.
