Tell us about your tale of grinding and hammering, etc... to make that work.

Really the rubbing wasn't bad. I trimmed the bottoms of the inner fender wells. When the rubbing got worse was when I removed the sway bar. I will tell you how ever that after TRR, I have chosen to go with fenders and Icons! I knew the limits of truck, and tire combination, so I didn't jump hard at all therefore not tearing up anything in the fender. But next year the gloves are off! So I guess in conclusion if your running a street queen, the 37s on top perch with sway bar attached it will work with mild trimming. My truck sees more dirt than asphalt so I will be changing my **** nit to run 37s.

Some guys here seem set on 35's being perfect but i think its the fenders keeping most in denial for offroad setup. To me, its like saying a bay boat is the perfect setup to go offshore fishing, You want a bigger boat to take on the possible swells and all other waves disappear and vise versa for tires/whoops. Same concept when u think about it though. No sense in making your stock fox shocks work harder with 35's than 37's. The trucks i spoken with, one guy that has 35's and 3.0's mentioned how he ridden in a truck with 37's and stock shocks. He would have never guessed the bigger tires would net those kinds of performance enhancements.....All I'm waiting on is the boatecs to ship out and off to my installer I will go. :) I have the same wheels in my garage except 37's, nice truck my man!

for me it's all about the weight. 37's are heavy, not just the size but the type. 37" mud tires are heavy. Then people want big heavy 20" Fuel wheels. The added size, stress and weight will take it's tow. Plus it will be a lil more difficult to align.

I've seen plenty of Raptors on here with broken parts due to big heavy wheels and tires. If you gonna do it, DO IT RIGHT. But 37" Open Countrys on 20" Fuel wheels with stock fenders and suspension is ludacris

I'm def doing it rite.. fuel wheels in my opinion are too heavy, even in 17's. boatecs will be to the installer any day and off to Houston I will go once shipping is received. Bought and paid for as of almost 2weeks ago. Can't wait to get my RPG pre-runner bumper so I can hit some areas around here even faster. :)

Question for ya ragin, what's the weight difference scab to screw??
