So obviously personal finance is personal but just curious to what others feel is a reasonable price to pay.

I originally wanted a 37 Raptor. Had my order spec’d out while waiting to order from my local dealer at MSRP. Got the call, no allocations for a 37. Still took a 35

Since then I’ve browsed for an iconic silver 37. Got a few quotes with trade in and trying to justify what price is actually fair to make the change.

$12,000 out the door is most reasonable quote currently which is a tad more than I’d like to pay. Could always sell mine outright then browse for the right deal but I’d lose tax credit.

It’s not worth $12k. Honestly there is not much of a difference between the two unless you are off-roading. Buy some 37 takeoffs and no one will ever know that it’s not a true 37 PP and you’ll save $10k.

For kicks, I ran the numbers on KBB. There’s about a $2k difference between a 35 vs 37 package. So it’s not worth it from a resale perspective. The cheapest you can obtain a Raptor the better off you are.

Good points. I will admit it’s just more of a want as I don’t even push the limits of my truck currently. And while the market calms I believe the true difference in resale is going to be very little like you mentioned.

I ordered the 37 package, and decided I would not be happy without it. But of course, still waiting for the production date.

Better yet use the 12k for tires and a set of fox race series shocks when they become available. Now your on 37s and have better suspension than a stock 37PP.

Only thing missing is the blue recaros, but that’s a personal preference. Love mine though.

That’s always an option as well. I do prefer staying oem.

I guess the best way to do it is sell mine and just browse for a reasonable deal on a used 37 private sell.

Why are people so obsessed w/ tire size? Muh ground clearance. Bitch please, yr in the wrong truck. Get a v8 beater and run 38-40’s.
