So just went to get a balance yesterday and noticed the my rear stock KO2s had some crazy crowning, the edges of the tire are in great condition while the middle of the tire is worn down to almost wear line. I’m really not sure how this happened, I have not towed anything and have run about 38 psi since I can remember... I just need to be more on top of rotating I guess. Been on the truck for 18k miles.

Regardless I am going to need some new tires and I truly am on the fence.

I love the look of 37s but I don’t want to cause any issues with major rubbing or performance loss.
I know Nittos run a little bigger and BFGs run a little smaller.

So my question is 35 ridge grapplers or 37 KO2s. I have the icon front leveling kit.

Pictures would be great!

Thank you

37 inch RGs should fit without rubbing if you are running OEM wheels and a level. I'm running 37 inch KM3s with no rubbing - they are also a little lighter than the RGs.

If your concerned about performance you should do some homework and compare the tire weight of your KO2s to any 37s your considering. More tire weight = more rotating mass = performance killer. My 37" Cooper Discoverers are actually 1 lb lighter per tire than my previous 35" Toyo M/Ts, so Win/Win for me.

I am running the Icon Rebounds.

What suspension set up do you have?

2.5" level kit plus 1" block in back. I was told a 2" with no rear block would also do the trick, but I liked the look of the bigger lift on one of the technician's Raptor.

38 psi is to high(especially in the rear)you will kill a new set in short order.

37s will fit with a level depending on offset of the wheel

Good luck

debating between the KO2s or KM3s for a set of 37”s in a few weeks on new venom Rex wheels. How’s the ride? Are you running the Load Range Ds? Costco techs say they can get 37 KM3s in load C and D. Only see D listed on BFGs website though.

don’t do 38 on the rears, i had exact same problem because i trusted the dealer who put 40 on the rear, with Texas heat it was more like 45, killed my tire and took no responsibility.
I now run 34/35 cold on the rears, 37/38 cold on the fronts.

Thanks for the input guys.

I'm going to have them put on the 37 KO2's and see if they rub or how bad and will make the decision then.

Not going to charge me until I decide to stick with the 37s or just go 35s.

The 37 KO2's are only 69lbs per tire, not bad at all.

I will report back with pictures and info after tomorrow for future searchers!

Ride is smooth with the "D" load range. My Costco tech said they don't like installing tires bigger than 35". I would take it to an off-road specialist if moving up to 37s.
