Took a small group of 7 trucks on a 3-day run through Death Valley this weekend. Had an incredible time, and really enjoyed all 3 days. The group was incredible, and did a GREAT job making it through all 3 days with almost no issues (only 1 flat tire) and making great time in the process.
Total mileage was just under 600 miles from start to finish, and we did everything from high speed lake beds, to rock crawling with spotters... had a great time. Will definitely be making this same trip again in the future. It's possible to condense a large portion of this into 2 days, but the 3 day trip sure was nice, and allowed us to relax a little more, spend more time at the stops, and just enjoy the scenery.
Here are some pics... More to follow tonight, when I upload from the camera.
Group in the Black Mountain canyons:
E63 on the Lakebed:
Heading towards the Pinnacles:
The crazy-ass Canadian, doing the Captain on a Pinnacle:
Dinner in Ridgecrest:
Dry Lake-Bed in Death Valley:
Your resident "Post-*****" himself (Noah):
Some Power Steering woes, being corrected:
Chloride Peak:
Titus Canyon:
Ubehebe Crater Challenge participants (ask Noah about this one):
More to come later... all in all a GREAT weekend, and a great group of people!
