3/14 Build week

It took me 12 weeks fully loaded Level 2 and paid 11% below MSRP. Drove it for a couple of weeks and even though it's fast, still looks like a ram 1500. Hang in there, it will be worth it.

Man, that sucks. I'm just about done waiting... I see guys talking about getting TRX in a month below MSRP.... That is starting to look better and better.

Well I have a TRX on order at 4% below invoice while I wait for raptor still. Unlike most I placed my initial order back in June of last year so it’s been a long brutal wait.

Man, that is an absolutely stupid wait.... How far along is the TRX?

Im trying... I went back to school to get a degree which took me approx. 5.5 years (working full time part of the time) so Ive been waiting basically 6 years to get a truck.... Needless to say, I'm tired of waiting! lol

Im about tired of these foos in other threads having trucks that show "built" already... Some guys in the 4/4 thread already show built.... That is immeasurably infuriating.

What was their blend date though?

What kills me is there doesn't appear to be any rhyme or reason with how trucks are being build.

I understand certain options maybe more likely to go on hold than others, but there are such a wide variety of trucks being finished.

Folks with 35s, 37s, moonroofs, graphics, bed liners, bed covers, pro power etc. are all getting completed while many of us are just sitting here with zero information.

It's frustrating for sure.

Ford is basically a total dumpster fire right now... in every single aspect of the customer process. The tracker never works, everyone gets different excuses and explanations, the crazy price changes with even the dealers not knowing what to do, and everything else in between. Once you guys get "built" and finally clear whatever swirlsville they have you in, don't get too happy ... you just move from one mess to another ... transport. They seem to be just as clueless in that part of the process with no more semblance of a plan there than they do for picking which orders to build. I've been (apparently) sitting at the railyard while other orders, built after me going to the same region, have shipped already while mine and others sit. Seems that they have incompetent people running things at every turn. I can certainly understand and expect some delays with all the various issues, but Ford seems to have taken it to another level because no matter what you hear, there's no single clear point of failure... it's everything... and there's no good explanation for anything they do. Their own people don't even know!

all i have is a vin which was issued a few days after my order was placed in Feb. est is around 2-6 months and i'm on month 2. Orders seem to be moving along fast pending trim levels and options. Im ok waiting since i have a raptor already coming once it leaves (Chip Hold) not confirmed as dealer tells me it doesn't show any holds, but its been in production since 3/14.

Nice. So I guess at this point it’s probably best to just wait it out. I talked to a dealer yesterday about a 21 TRX with 7k miles on it. The guy wouldn’t budge off of 92k… These people have lost their minds. Lol

I couldn’t agree more. Seriously, just not knowing what’s going on is the worst part of all of it for me. It’ll they say 6 months, fine. I just want to know.

What was their blend date though?

It was in the 4/4 thread, so around there is my assumption. One guy said 3/28, though. Either way, the build date is later than ours. No bueno.
