3.0 Shocks Adjustable?

I sent an email to Fox to see if they offer the exact same shock, or something better, with adjustment knobs. I will report back on the answer and what it will take/cost to modify the shocks that come on the truck, or replace them. If they can't be modified, maybe they can ship the replacement shocks to the dealership and give a refund on the unused shocks? Thanks for the clarification!!!

Fox does, its the same one that we put on the gen1's. Its the QAB/DSC option on full REPLACEMENT shocks. Good luck on a dealership giving you a refund on what stock parts you take off. That sir is a funny one, LOL!!!

I did not mean to imply that the dealer would provide any kind of credit for swapping out unused shocks. I have dealt with Fox before when I had an issue, self inflicted, with a Fox shock that I had on a Polaris RZR. They were very accommodating and provided great customer service. My hope is that I can buy the replacement shocks, have them shipped to the dealership to be swapped out before the truck is driven, and then receive a credit for the unused factory shocks when they are shipped back to Fox. Probably a long shot, but based on what I saw from them previously, definitely an option worth exploring.

Having the dealer swap shocks and pay them to do so is completely plausible and don't see you having any issue with that. Fox is not going to give you credit for a used shock that they only make for Ford. This is getting funnier.

Seriously though, you will need to sell them here in FRF or Craigslist/eBay. I am sure you won't be the first person to sell their gen2 shocks and certainly won't be the last. That is the direction that we all do.

I heard King and ICON will pay you for your stock fox shocks so they can do research on the competition....

#1 The dealer will not do the swap for free. They may do it but you will pay the cost of labor. Some dealers may or may not install customer supplied parts.

#2 No way in hell Fox will give you $.10 for your take off shocks.

Why would Fox offer you any money for the stock shocks? You didn't buy them, Ford did. Good customer service might dictate that if the customer has issues with their part you might find some way to work with them, but as for the stock shock, Ford is the customer, not you.

I don't know the difference in ATV shock and truck shock but I bet a truck shock is a bit more.
